2010 Tournaments
We have a new schedule for the Club Championship this year. In order to ease pressure on court space and on the team players during the busy part of the tennis season, the Club Championship tournament will run through the summer with the Finals Day on Sunday September 12th.
Finals Day for The Handicap Tournament and The Family Cup (which will follow the same pattern as last year) will be on Sunday 26th September.

World Cup Tournament
To celebrate FIFA World Cup year there will be a one-off tournament on Saturday 12th June involving both juniors and seniors. One junior and one senior member will be drawn together to play as a team. The format will follow that of the FIFA competition with Group and Knock-Out stages, with an additional Plate competition for the teams that fail to make the Knock-Out stage. Live World Cup coverage will be available in the bar for those not playing, and a themed Buffet is planned for the end of the competition, in time for the start of the England v USA match at 7.30.
BANK HOLIDAY TOURNAMENTS
These take place each Bank Holiday Monday (3rd May, 31st May and 30th August) and are an opportunity to experience some fun tennis in a sociable and competitive setting. All standards of player are welcome. There is no need to pre-book – just turn up to sign in at 1.45 for 2pm start. Initial pairings are drawn at the start and change every 7 games, with play continuing until around 5pm when tea, cake and prizes take over.

Ladies' Vets Tournament
The Ladies' Vets Tournament is played annually for the Mainprice Trophy. In order to facilitate organisation and promote greater participation, the tournament this year will take the form of a Round Robin event to be held early in October - date and time to be finalised.

The Men's Vets Tournament will take place on Sunday 10th October, starting at 9.30 am prompt. Prizegiving and light refreshments at 12.30.
